Terms of service
Effective October 18, 2026
The English version of these terms is legally binding.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using Kennu (kennu.io), you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Kennu. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Concept & Code, LLC.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old. If you use Kennu on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it.
3. Description of the service
Kennu helps organizations prepare meetings with each other: personal profiles, organization and department content, meeting briefings, and staying connected afterwards. We may change or discontinue features, with reasonable notice where practicable.
4. Accounts
You sign in with one-time links sent to your email address; keep access to that email secure. You are responsible for activity in your account. An account belongs to one person and at most one organization; if you work with several organizations, use a separate account for each.
5. Organizations, roles and guests
Whoever creates an organization becomes its owner. Owners and admins manage members, departments and all content; members maintain their own profile and their department's content. The organization is responsible for who it invites and what it shares. For that content we act as the organization's processor; organizations can request a data processing agreement at legal@kennu.io. People invited to a meeting can use Kennu for free.
6. Early access and plans
Kennu is currently in early access and free of charge. Features may change or be removed. If we introduce paid plans, we will announce prices before they take effect, and nothing is charged without your agreement. People invited to a meeting always use Kennu for free.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Kennu unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; share content or personal data you are not allowed to share; upload harmful content or malware; access meetings, profiles or data you were not invited to; forward personal invite links; scrape or automate access; reverse-engineer the service; share accounts; bypass plan limits; or disrupt the service. Violations may lead to suspension or termination.
8. Intellectual property and your content
Concept & Code, LLC owns Kennu, its brand, code and content. You and your organization own the content you put into Kennu (profiles, content modules, attachments, meeting details) and grant us a limited license to store, process and display it to the people you share it with, to provide and improve the service, as described in the privacy policy.
9. Third-party services
Kennu relies on third-party providers such as Supabase, Cloudflare and Resend. Their terms may also apply, and we are not responsible for their outages or changes.
10. Disclaimers
Kennu is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content shared by other organizations or people is accurate or current.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue or business. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Liability that cannot be limited by law is not affected.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Concept & Code, LLC and its affiliates against claims arising from your use of Kennu, your content, or your violation of these terms or of third-party rights.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. We will first try to resolve disputes in good faith; otherwise they are settled by binding arbitration seated in Colorado under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless prohibited by law. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a competent court. Consumers keep any mandatory rights under their local law, and consumers in the EEA may use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We signal material changes by updating the effective date and, where legally required, by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using Kennu.
15. Termination
You can stop using Kennu at any time and delete your account in Kennu (Profile → Delete account) or by writing to legal@kennu.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 8 and 10–13 survive termination.
